Blessing the bikes

Deacon Tony McGee, Newnan, and Father Dan Hale, Peachtree City, recently blessed the motorcycles of the Warriors Motorcycle Club, a ministry of Sharpsburg’s Christ the King Church. The event was prior to a ride to lunch and a trip to Chattahoochee Bend State Park.

The Georgia Department of Labor announced this week that the unemployment rate in the Three Rivers region in July was 7.1 percent, up five-tenths of a percentage point from 6.6 percent in June.
