Peachtree Wind Ensemble and ACC concert choir in concert

The Peachtree Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Mike Daniell, together with the Atlanta Christian College's Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Byron J. Cartwright, present a Fall Concert on October 24, 2010, at 6 PM at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, 1150 Jefferson Avenue, East Point, Georgia.

The Peachtree Wind Ensemble is a Southern Crescent community band that was formed in 1991. They are currently made up of about 55 community musicians and always welcome new members. They look forward to Sunday's concert as being one of their largest performances yet. The ACC Concert Choir is a student organization and is the college's largest performing arts group. This will be the first time the two groups have performed together and they look forward to bringing you a spectacular, enjoyable, and inspiring evening.

The Starr's Mill Panthers boys golf team finished fourth in Monday's AAAAA state tournament. The McIntosh Chiefs finished eighth as a team. Cambridge won the team title with a +6 (290).
