Early voting waiting game

The patience of this loyal canine was on full display last week while it waited on top of a truck for its owner to finish voting early at the county government complex in downtown Fayetteville. Cindy Couch of the county's finance department passed along this snapshot of Man's Best Friend doing what he does best: being loyal and patient. One imagines there was a doggy treat at the end of this pup's watch. Photo/Cindy Couch.

I know this isn't Chicago, but are we certain this dog wasn't allowed to Vote for Obama?

Love it ! Great piece.

I saw this last week and at first it was a stuffed animal on the roof, then I wondered if it constituted pro-Obama campaigning because he made a big deal about Romney's dog traveling on the roof of their car. Once I got closer, I saw that it was a devoted dog who was trying to keep his human in eye contact. He quickly gathered a small fan club around him and had no problem jumping between the bed of the truck and the roof.

picture and story!
