COS will celebrate its Reformation heritage

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will celebrate its Reformation heritage at services on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27-28.

Next Wednesday, Oct. 31, marks the 495th anniversary of Martin Luther’s sparking the Reformation by nailing 95 theses to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg, detailing changes he demanded in the Church.

The Christ Our Shepherd Brass, Joyful Noise Ringers and Sanctuary Choir will offer festal music. The services will feature Luther quotations and excerpts from his definitive Small Catechism.

The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.
