Meet the Mormons tomorrow evening
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Peachtree City invites the community to attend a special brief presentation to “Meet the Mormons,” Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. The presentation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 101 S. Peachtree Parkway, corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City.

NHBC plans fall festival, car show Oct. 27
National Heights Baptist Church will host its Fall Festival and Car Show, Saturday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the church. The event features an antique car show, Trunk or Treat, bounce house, games, crafts, food and fun for the whole family. Nine to receive first communion at COS
Nine children will receive their first communion on Reformation Weekend at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. They have completed classes to understand the significance and meaning of the sacrament. They are: Kieran Marland, Lauren Marland, Tyler Jacobson, Bryan Miller, James Reamer, Kaitlin King, Katherine Shriner, Owen Hartman, and Logan Rembisz.

Flat Creek’s Harvest Fest is Oct. 31

Bethany United Methodist Church will have Trunk-R-Treat Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5-6:30 p.m. Bethany is at Milam-Rivers Rd. at its intersection with Lee’s Lake Road in north Fayette County.
