Burch-Hood engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Burch of Fayetteville, Ga. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Courtney Burch to Mr. Kyle Hood, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hood of Jackson, Ga.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Annelle Burch and the late James W. Burch of Fayetteville, Ga. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Orbin Howell of Macon, Ga.

Courtney is a 2005 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2009 graduate of Auburn University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a Wound Care R.N. at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Sharon Clonts of Riverdale, Ga. and the late Ray Alsabrook of Roanoke, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Hood of Rex, Ga.

Kyle is a 2002 graduate of Jonesboro High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in 2006 and a Master of Public Administration in 2008 from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. Kyle is employed by the Town of Tyrone as its Town Manager.

The wedding will be held on the evening of May 3, 2014 in Fayetteville, Ga.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour traveled to Senoia June 6-7 for the Canongate Series #4. The Canongate Seminole Course played excellent host to two very competitive rounds of junior golf.
