Grant Aasen, EMTs and doctor honored at Friday football game

The EMTs, firefighters, life flight personnel and the neurologist that attended to Starr's Mill High School Junior Varsity football player Grant Aasen after a whiplash injury last week at a ball game were honored after the coin toss at the game Friday night between Starr's Mill and Northgate. The injury and Grant's full recovery after the emergency surgery at Atlanta Medical Center is nothing short of a miracle, said Grant's mother Tina. Read earlier story here. Photo/Ben Nelms.
