Spirit of McIntosh wraps up 2010 with competition at Newnan High School

The 100-plus members of the Spirit of McIntosh Marching Band from McIntosh High School will close their 2010 season with a performance of their show “Corrida” at the 31st Annual Old South Marching Festival & Competition on Nov. 6 at Newnan High School. The award winning band participated in two competitions this year receiving all superior ratings for the band, drum majors, color guard, and percussion. The band placed second in the class AAA division at the Superbowl of Sound at Central Carroll High School on Oct. 2.
