Students and teachers await an airborne visitor at PTC Elementary

An Army Black Hawk helicopter surprised the students at Peachtree City Elementary School Thursday morning for a special visit to coincide with the school’s early celebration of Veterans Day. The helicopter crew was able to stay through the afternoon and give classes guided tours of the bird, which kicked up a good bit of dust as it landed in an open field adjacent to the school.
