E-SPLOST leads in early voting count, Bacallao beating Smith

UPDATE 8:24 p.m. — Fayette early vote ONLY:

E-SPLOST: Yes 17,204 (52.03%), No 15,859 (47.97%)

Bacallao 20,405 (63.99%), Smith 11,483 (36.01%)

Charter schools: Yes 20,433 (62.54%), No 12,241 (37.46%)


TALLY UPDATE 8:10 p.m. — Updated figures show the TAD referendum sweeping to victory tonight. The vote as reported by the Fayette County Elections Office is Yes 3,499 (69.88%), and No 1,508 (30.12%).
