Sandman defeats Santa Claus

Santa arrived in Newnan Friday night to throngs of anxious kids waiting to pass along their Christmas wishes. But not even Santa could get a wish from this little one who was sound asleep and missed all the excitement. Photo/Ben Nelms.

Am I the only one who thinks it is creepy that you would take an iddy biddy baby to a public place and let a stranger hold it after all the other snotty faced kids were in his lap spreadin' the germs?

Now come on. See those gloves Santa is wearing? New pair, just for newborns.

As for snotty faced kids, well, there will be many moments of sharing coming up for this and every kid out there when it comes to that. What I can't figure out is why every Santa out there has bad breath. That's why the kids scream when given to him for photos. Not the beard, it's the breath. However, come the morning of the 25th, all is forgiven in Santa world.
