Lisbon Baptist participating in Soles 4 Souls shoe distribution

Lisbon Baptist Church, 1662 Hwy. 85, South, Fayetteville, is collecting new and clean, gently used shoes during the month of December in conjunction with Soles 4 Souls , an organization that distributes shoes around the world to those in need.

The Lisbon children and the Lisbon Drama Team will present the Jeff Slaughter musical/drama, “The Christmas Shoe Tree,” on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. The community is invited. Admission is free but it is requested that everyone bring a pair of shoes to donate that night.

Shoe donations will be accepted during the week as well as on Sundays. Call the church, 770-461-1583, for more information or to arrange a time for shoe drop off.
