Gregory Terrell Dixon, age 35 of Sharpsburg

Mr. Gregory Terrell Dixon, age 35 of Sharpsburg, passed away on Nov. 27, 2011. He was born in Dublin, Ga. on Jan. 20, 1976. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of 3rd Wheel Band. He loved his family and friends, music and soccer.

He was predeceasd by his mother, Mary Brogdon Black. Surviving are his father, Larry Dixon; brothers, Mike Dixon (Danielle), Robbie Dixon (Kim), Patrick McKenzie, Torey Grandt, Kenneth Marchman, Jeff Smith; grandmother, Gladys Brogdon; stepfather, Grady Black; nieces and nephews.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at Crossroads Church, 2564 Highway 154, Newnan, Ga., with Bishop David Epps officiating; interment Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Remains will be placed in state at 12 p.m. at the church. The family received friends at the funeral home Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-9 p.m.
