'A Christmas Carol' at City Tap this weekend

Ebenezer Scrooge invites all to A Company of Friends Productions' dinner theatre event, “A Christmas Carol.” However, to experience this powerful presentation and enjoy the delicious holiday meal that is included in the ticket price, you must act quickly as seats are filling up fast.

A talented cast of 26 local performers are set to bring this Dickens' classic to life at the intimate venue of City Tap in Peachtree City at 273 Commerce Drive in Westpark Walk Shopping Center. Elegant costumes, creative sets, a timeless tale and amazing food and drink will all be part of your yuletide afternoon or evening.

The spirits are set to haunt Scrooge on Saturdays, December 10 and 17 at 1 p.m. and Sundays, December 11 and 18 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Seating is very limited and making reservations is a must. Tickets are $24 general and $22 seniors 60+ and children under 12 years. Dinner before the show includes tossed salad w/homemade dressing, hot rolls, roast turkey and stuffing, buttered asparagus, holiday dessert and coffee, tea or ice water.

A cash bar will also be available before the show and at intermission for our guests 21 years and older.

“A Christmas Carol” is a family show, however, some scenes might be too intense for children under 10 years of age. To make reservations call 770-251-7611 or visit us online at

I believe the City Tap is under new ownership. We should help support local business and go see this... sounds like fun and a reasonable price too! Who is playing Scrooge, anyone know?

You could have supported a local business by coming to Taco Mac last evening and socialized with your fellow Citizen bloggers! Cyclist, Hutch, Jevank, Mytmite, Carbonunit, Kevin King, Mike King, and yours truly all did the max Grip & Grin activity (enhanced by available beverages). The place was jumpin' and a good time had by all! Perhaps next time, huh?

...sounds like a good time was had by all. Maybe next time I'll swing by for a martini with y'all. Have a very Happy Solstice and a Merry Christmas!

You could have done that tonight by showing up at Taco Mac to hobnob with your fellow Citizen bloggers! Hearty & vocal group of Hutch, Jevank, CarbonUnit,Mike King,Cyclist,Mytmite KevinKing and yours truly made
