Crowds bundle up for Newnan Christmas parade

The frigid weather in Newnan last Sunday could not quell the excitement at the city’s annual Christmas parade. The parade attracted 70 entries and enormous crowds that lined Jackson and LaGrange streets. Whether floats signifying the Nativity or a Christmas tree loaded with ornaments or marching bands and organizations wanting to participate, all were present for the parade that began downtown and proceeded along a frozen parade route to Newnan High School.
