A birthday gift to Toys for Tots

Shae Staples (center) and her mother Kayrn drop off toys to local Marine Corps League member Peter Pape who was manning a Toys For Tots drop-off point at the Walmart in Peachtree City on Dec. 1. Shae asked guests at her 6th birthday party to bring new, unwrapped toys for Toys For Tots instead of gifts for her, then she and her mom took them directly to the drop-off. Others who wish to demonstrate this spirit of giving through toys or monetary donations have one more weekend, Dec. 15 and 16, when drop-off points will be set up at all Walmarts in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Newnan, the Newnan Big Lots store and the Fayetteville Toys R Us. Especially needed are toys for youths ages 9 to 13. Photo/Coweta-Fayette Marine Corps League Post #1325.
