Fayette Family Church gives away new Nissan

Fayette Family Church’s Car Giveaway concluded Sunday morning, Dec. 16, when Norma Holden, winner of the car, drove home in a new 2012 Nissan Versa.

The car was given by an anonymous donor, who specified the car be used for church purposes only.

Jerry Young, senior pastor of the young Fayetteville church said he wanted to give his congregation the opportunity to win the car by encouraging them to invite their friends.

In return, their names along with first-time and returning guests were entered during the 20-week campaign.

Pastor Young’ said his motive was, “Grounded in God’s Word, ‘Go and compel them to come in so His house may be filled.’ If Jesus won others to God through miracles, as in loaves and fish, then we also can do the same. We were able to offer something to be a blessing to others, especially during the time of season that God gave his greatest gift of all, Jesus.”
