Tyrone honors police officers

Honoring the employees of the Tyrone Police Department at an annual dinner has become a tradition. The 4th Annual Tyrone Police Department Banquet was held Dec. 8 at the Tyrone Depot. Among the many awards presented by Chief Brandon Perkins were those to Sgt. Eric DeLoose (left) for the 2010 Employee of the Year and to Officer Shawn Albea for the 2010 Officer of the Year.
