Leonard Goodman, 94, of Peachtree City

Leonard Goodman of 103 Flintlock Court, Peachtree City, GA died on December 13, 2010.

Born in Tacoma, WA in 1916, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. After serving in the Army in Alaska during World War II, he joined Pan American World Airways as a pilot. He flew out of San Francisco, then Frankfurt a. M. in Germany and finally New York. He retired in 1976 and moved to Georgia in 1979.

He was predeceased by his wife Mimi in 2003.

Leonard Goodman is survived by his daughters Katherine Goodman of Natick, MA and Jean Goodman Ciochon, her husband Paul and their daughter Jennifer of Bellingham, WA. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City, GA on January 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
