Murray Pritchett, age 84, of Union City

Mr. Murray Pritchett, age 84, of Union City, Ga., passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013.

Mr. Pritchett worked for the Atlanta Fire Department and was an aide to five chiefs for 16 years and owned a Gulf Service Station at Hartsfield Atlanta Airport for 28 years. He is preceded in death by his wife Amy Pritchett and is survived by two children Elizabeth Avera and Marshall Pritchett and wife Anna all of Fayetteville; grandchildren Jessica Eberhardt, Christine Cole, Holly and Michael Avera, and great grandchildren Gabrielle and Tyler Cole.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home Fayetteville Chapel with Director Micah Puckett officiating. The interment was at Westview Cemetery.
