Mrs. Dorothy A. Callan Peterson of Peachtree City

Mrs. Dorothy A. Callan Peterson of Peachtree City, GA died December 23, 2010.

Mrs. Peterson, formerly of Worcester , was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Elizabeth (Kennedy) Callan of Worcester, her brother Francis X. Callan of Shrewsbury , and her husband of 54 years, Kenneth R. Peterson.

She was a graduate of Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an RN for the City of Worcester Health Department. She was licensed in the states of MA and IL. She retired after moving to Georgia and devoted her life as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Linda Peterson; Paul Peterson and his wife Dawn; Jim Peterson, all of Peachtree City; Bill Peterson and his wife Kris of Snellville; Bob Peterson and his wife Wendy of Milton, FL; 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Fr. Michael Kingery will officiate. Interment services will immediately follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM with a Christian wake service at 7:30 PM.
