Thomas John Micallef, of Detroit, passed away on December 24, 2013 at the age 90.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, nee Gale, for 49 years. Loving father of Charles (Janice), Thomas Jr. (Mary Jane), Deborah (Tracy Waksler), and Roseann. Dearest grandfather of Ryan, Amy, Jennifer (Brantley) Allen, Anna (Nick) Micallef Wing, Thomas John III (Tee Jay), and great-grandfather of Natalie Allen.

Visitation Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary 8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road, (313) 278-5100.

In state Saturday 10 a.m. with an 11 a.m. mass of the resurrection to follow at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1050 Porter St., Detroit.

Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Most Holy Trinity Church, Detroit, Mich., Capuchin Soup Kitchen, or the Michigan Humane Society would be appreciated.
