Welcome to an extremely unscientific, highly personal awards column that results in no real awards. That being said, as F.C. Foodie, I do sample lots of the local restaurants and I keep my ears open and hear the buzz from local citizens as well. The winners are all very deserving.

Of course Foodie was at the annual Taste of Fayette event this past Sunday (you didn’t see a guy in a fedora and sunglasses?). Numerous area restaurants all putting their cuisine out there for the people to try? Fuhgeddaboutit. It’s a no-brainer. Foodie simply must attend an event like that.
