MSNBC Host Melissa Harris-Skeezer-Perry: ‘Children Belong To The Collective’

“We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities,” Harris-Perry argued.

In other words, "You didn't conceive that"! (Sound familiar?) This is pure commie dialogue. She probably had too many kids from too many baby-daddies that she doesn't know and now wants her food stamps and welfare check increased.

Democrats refuse to honor England's Prime Minister

"A Senate resolution to honor Lady Thatcher was supposed to pass last night. However, per well placed sources on the Hill, Democrats have a hold on the resolution.

To refuse to honor a woman of such great historical and political significance, who was deeply loyal to the United States, is petty and shameful. One truly has to wonder, what is it about Lady Thatcher that gives them pause? Her unfaltering commitment to freedom? Or perhaps the way she fought for individual liberty and limited government?"

Typical...

Liberals hate freedom

They prefer dictators such as Hugo Chavez and barrack obama.

For example - look at what the crap weasle Jimmah Carter did last month.
Carter honors ruthless dictator

What a freekin dirtbag jaggoff Jimmy Carter is. He never met a fellow dirtbag that he didn't like.
Jimmy Carter Honors Yasser Arafat… Says Arafat Fought For Just Causes

If you believe that stealing from your people and working towards Israel’s destruction are “just causes” then you might agree with this crap-weasle.

SL, Joe, I particularlly like...

...the Soviet-esque actions of turning your neighbor in to the authorities like the KY Democratic group that spied on Sen. McConnell's reelection team. Oh, and the same tactic used on Romney last year; just a fine example of what a totalitarian government we'll have under continued Dem leadership. Keep your window blinds shut tight and watch what you say on the phone...

This is the roots of the New Democrat Party... Remember when Hillary Clinton said this..

She stated she is a 1920's styled Progressive... so she admits she is a Socialist..

Margaret Thatcher - another point of view /factual not emotional
Quote:

While many current leaders have chosen to not to attend Baroness Thatcher’s funeral, the service represents what is likely to be the last gathering of elder statesmen of the period before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
President Obama will be represented by President Reagan’s Secretary of State George Shultz and his Chief of Staff James Baker. Perhaps America’s most famous Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has also accepted an invitation, as has the former US Vice-President Dick Cheney – who was Defence Secretary at the end of Lady Thatcher’s time as Prime Minister. Senior Conservatives expressed irritation that no one from the current Obama administration will make the trip across the Atlantic.

There is a debate raging among the British regarding the appropriate service for Margaret Thatcher. Read for yourself. Many current leaders are remaining neutral. . .but the leaders during her time from the United States will be present.

DM - It

It seems pretty clear to me that M. Thatcher did not desire a state funeral and the state agrees. It would be the irony of all ironies if she were afforded one. She worked tirelessly to disassemble the state and its overreach into private property and freedom.

God Bless Mrs. Thatcher.

That's my understanding. She was and is highly respected for what she accomplished. Her supporters will be there to honor her. . .and many here in the US join them.

Administration to send NO ONE to Thatcher Funeral...

... but yet they DID see fit to send a delegation to Chavez's funeral.

Let's see one was a leader of the Free World the other was a Socialist Dictator.

Some of you Progressives want to field this one?

Thatcher is not a sitting Prime Minister

I'm not in the habit of excusing the Obama administration; however, the difference it seems is that Chavez (no matter how awful) was a sitting chief executive. Let's face it, Schultz and Baker will be much more welcomed by the Tories than would John Kerry anyway.

So following your logic, one must wonder why a delegation of 200 Foreign Diplomatic Corps attended the funeral of Richard Nixon.

It's an explanation, not a defense

I didn't say that I approve, I was merely explaining the difference in answer to Lindsey's question.

Not the reason given...

... the Administration said the reason they are not sending anyone is because they have to many pressing "Political" issues to leave the States right now...

Contrary to what Dm said...MOST Heads of State are in fact attending.. This is just another slap in the face of our allies.

"(Reuters) - London will stage its biggest political funeral in almost half a century on Wednesday when Britain's governing elite join the Queen and global leaders to bid farewell to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, better known as the "Iron Lady"."

They indeed had a big funeral, against the wishes of Maggie Thatcher.
